Our efforts extend to the Caribbean where our ability to embrace fresh opportunities circumnavigates traditional investment-banking firms. In a region where most cross-border allocations target the hospitality sector, we are drawn to the potential for often-ignored infrastructure development. Strategic shifts in the regional economy require renewed government focus on both social and physical infrastructure to accelerate growth. The private sector is ripe to benefit. Underlying concerns range from the impact of an evolving Cuban economy on region-wide tourism to the pursuit of new energy equilibrium following the collapse of the Venezuelan economy.
