Part of our inspiration comes from Ernst Friedrich Schumacher’s book, “Small Is Beautiful: Economics As If People Mattered,” arguably one of the most influential economics books of the twentieth century. Our own experience in financial services attests to the ups-and-downs of business cycles and the havoc they can impose on our clients. We operate in the world of high risk, but our style is oddly conservative in approach and recommendation.
