In an era in which “scalability” is considered an essential element of business success, we shift our focus in the other direction. At Cranganore, we work with a diverse group of clients on a custom basis, using benchmade approaches to help them achieve their investment and commercial objectives.
Any intelligent fool can make things bigger and more complex. It takes a touch of genius and a lot of courage to move in the opposite direction.
Ernst Friedrich Schumacher
Part of our inspiration comes from Ernst Friedrich Schumacher’s book, “Small Is Beautiful: Economics As If People Mattered,” arguably one of the most influential economics books of the twentieth century. Our own experience in financial services attests to the ups-and-downs of business cycles and the havoc they can impose on our clients. We operate in the world of high risk, but our style is oddly conservative in approach and recommendation.

Vision and Voice
Our distinctive style has evolved organically from both corporate and venture settings.
At Cranganore, our efforts span the complex and usual. Ready-made guidelines are ill-suited for our client projects. Because we make our mark with the unconventional, we are best known for our range of talents, rather than expertise in a specific industry. Metaphorically, our executives are glassmakers and gunsmiths, as well as cobblers and cordwainers. We believe that approach works best in global markets where businesses can be less stratified in their activities than they are in the United States.
This site provides a glimpse of our firm behind the showcase of industry conferences and the bravado of tombstone advertising. Our work for others is as resolute as it is transparent. We excel in the solitude of our workshop, crafting distinctive payoffs for institutional and enterprise clients.

Read the fine print. Cranganore operates worldwide. However, the company cannot offer all services in every jurisdiction or to all businesses. We may act in concert with locally-regulated entities in some cases.
